I'm a bit shocked this is the only track you've uploaded from this game. The OST is one of the best and most original ones out there... ever!
I dont know how i had the patience to finish this game. But i remember the fight your talking about. Its a good game but you jump between times and characters to often.
That was the worst thing about this game and it can happen numerous times throughout. I got stuck in the last dungeon simply because I couldn't get anymore AP/SP (don't remember well) so I couldn't make any aciton when fighting the terribly hard final bosses. But you're right, its art and music direction are top notch.
SaGa Frontier II is definitely not for the weak. Intense game with an intense soundtrack.
i got pretty far in this game but I guess the disc was too damaged i couldnt go past that part in the game.

@gunslingerfry SOme people like them, some people dont. But I happen to think 1 and 2 are both amazing games and truly one of a kind.
I never knew Hamazau did this soundtrack, this track is nice. Man, Square really owned during the PS1 days.

@dawells i recommend doing solo battles to level the chars quicker for the egg use ginny will gustaf and the girl with the axe give her nonmetal equip she's good with beast magic regen is v helpful
@SupraDarky This game is sooooo hard! I've given it a shot twice but still havent been able to beat it. I got to the last boss on 2 different tries. Im gonna fire it up again soon! I gotta beat that last boss!! :) *Wont give away for spoilers sake*

Odd choice for a first upload... as someone who played SF2 quite a while ago, I don't remember this song at all, but I remembered lots of others. I think there are a lot of better songs on the soundtrack.

This really reminds me of that forest song in Chrono Cross (Forest of Illusion). Also, 1:24 is my fave part :)
I played the game back in 2001 or so but never finished it. I don't know if my memory is fuzzy but I think I was on small boat and I had to fight monsters or a boss, and I had saved right before that and I was basically stuck right before the fight without being able to do anything else. I couldn't beat the boss and I had no way to level up. The game had awesome graphics though, and great music by Hamauzu for his first big fully composed game. I easily drift to this track.
